Part of the mid-season trade deal of 2017, Route 6 now heads to the extremely northern regions of an area known as ‘More Land’, from here it makes the only west-east journey in the northern suburbs to Lygon Street, through the Brunswick East Macca’s chicane, past endless cafes, and through the heart of the city and past new landmarks - Town Hall metro station (2025), past the Apple Store at Fed Square (20??) - and old landmarks such as Princes Bridge (1888), and the Yarra River (6000 BC). Rocketing down world famous boulevard St Kilda Road, the 6 veers onto High Street where it cuts through the suburbs of Prahran, Armadale, Malvern and as far as I know the only tram stop named after a swimming pool named after a former Prime Minister, and onwards to Glen Iris.
